With InterFormNG2 it is possible to create a delayed email, which you can later decide to either send or cancel. You can create a delayed email with the workflow component, PDF Delayed email.
The advanced, special workflow component, Cancel delayed email has this parameter:
Cancel key
The cancel key is the unique key of the email, that should be cancelled in order to avoid sending the referenced email.
