In InterFormNG2, it is possible to export resources in various ways. This section explains how to export specific resources and/or configurations of a tenant.
This option is associated with the import resources options, which are also listed below.
To begin the export, you must be signed in to a tenant. First, select the Settings tab at the top.
Then you need to select the Export resources in the bottom left:
Then you see this:
If you now click the icon, Prepare export then InterFormNG2 will prepare a list of all resources and show this:
Here, you can click the plus icon on the left to view all the resources and/or settings you wish to export. Simply select them by clicking on them. Once you've made your selections, click the export icon in the bottom right to package all the resources into a zip file. The export file will be saved in the downloads folder.
You can select specific resources as shown below:
Please note that when you export one or more templates, InterFormNG2 will also include the dependencies, such as referenced fonts, images, translation files, and documents, in the export.
When exporting configurations, you should consider whether the passwords should be protected in the export. By default, passwords are encrypted and can only be used on the current installation. If you need to move the configuration to a new machine and retain these passwords, you may need to (temporarily?) enable the export of unencrypted passwords. This can be configured in the global system settings as covered here.
