Email input

This section describes the various email inputs. Email input covers both the various payloads, that you can use when emailing, but it also includes the option to setup a workflow to monitor an email account for incoming emails.

1. Use an XML file or spooled file as input
You can use an XML file or a spooled file as input.

The normal setup for these input file types is to merge the input file with a normal template and setup an email where the merged result is attached as a PDF file. You can do that with the workflow component, Create PDF email.

You can also choose to create an email without any attachment and to setup an email where the contents of the email is html and contains the merged result between the input file and an email template. For that you can use the workflow component, Send an html email.

2. Use an html or text file as input
If you want a simple email with either a text or html as input, then you can setup workflows like below.

3. Monitor an email account for incoming emails and process them
It is possible to setup InterFormNG2 to monitor an email account for incoming emails and then process them in a workflow.
For that you first need to setup an input email server configuration and then you can create a workflow with the input type, Read from email server.
